A global specialist in cold chain logistics, Newcold has chosen the ZAC de Villeroy, in the Yonne department, to establish a new 21,000 m² warehouse with a capacity of 100,000 pallets at -23°C.
Located in direct proximity to the A19 motorway, in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, Newcold’s new platform will strengthen a particularly dynamic ecosystem built around major players such as Renault, Iris Logistique, AVEM…
The result of a long-term effort initiated as early as 2023 by Yonne Développement, AER BFC, the Communauté de Communes du Gâtinais en Bourgogne and the Immo-HUB / Geolink Expansion teams, this establishment reflects the collective momentum built within the territory, and validates a strategy grounded in transparency and stakeholder collaboration. In total, just over 150 jobs are expected to be created as part of this project.
For Newcold, already operating 26 state-of-the-art warehouses worldwide, this new site will strengthen its territorial network, to the greatest benefit of food and agri-food industry professionals.
