The three objectives of the MediaPark urban development are :

• To transform major infrastructure
• To open the park to the public
• To develop a media hub centred on the RTBF-VRT site

Project to build a new creative and vibrant neighbourhood

• To create a community-oriented neighbourhood (where everyone has nurseries, schools, cultural and sports facilities close to home)

Project to build the ‘Maison des Médias’

The Société d’Aménagement Urbain (SAU) has issued a call for projects for the construction of the ‘Maison des Médias’, one of the first concrete developments planned as part of the mediapark.brussels project.

It will be a flagship building for mediapark.brussels, whose architectural quality is intended to act as a draw for potential future users and set the quality standard for future projects within this ambitious urban programme:

• The headquarters of regional television station BX1
• An innovation hub dedicated to the media and audiovisual sector
• Offices for Screen.Brussels
• Premises for a training institute
