Chemparc Chemical and Industrial Hub – Southern Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Chemparc is the chemical and industrial cluster in the south of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, located at the Lacq site.

Chemparc is internationally renowned, comprising four Seveso II sites and seven industrial clusters.

The Chemparc site is situated 28 km from Pau, 17 km from the A65 and A64 motorways and 27 km from Pau-Pyrénées Airport.

Business Centre – Fully-fitted offices to let – Lacq

A 2,500 m² business centre was established in 2011 on the Chemparc site: CHEMSTART’UP.

Located in the Lacq Industrial Estate, the CHEMSTART’UP Business Incubator welcomes start-ups specialising in fine chemicals, new materials, green chemistry, composite materials and nanomaterials. Specialised start-ups find a dedicated and secure environment here, as well as ideal conditions to grow through to the industrial stage.

  • Each fully-equipped office comprises: 75m² of administrative space (modular offices); 75m² of fully-equipped laboratories (workbenches, fume cupboards, etc.) fitted with safety features (smoke detectors, toxic gas detectors, air extractors, safety shower, eye wash, etc.); 50m² of secure space, with a ceiling height of 6m, dedicated to the installation of small-scale industrial pilot plants: this secure hall is also fitted with smoke and toxic gas detectors and an air extraction system.
