Eurozone Business Park in Forbach

Historically, the Moselle and Saar regions on the one hand, and Forbach and Saarbrücken on the other, entered a phase of concrete action and collaborative projects 40 years ago, following the Karlsruhe Agreements.

Two kilometres north of Forbach, less than four kilometres from the German border, the first Franco-German business park was established.

The Forbach-Saarbrücken Eurozone covers 90 hectares on the French side, on the site of the former Puits Simon and the timber yard of the Lorraine Basin Coal Mines.

On the German side is the 3.5-hectare Brême d’Or site, which will eventually be extended to cover the entire motorway customs platform.

The Forbach business park is designed for the service sector and for high-tech and service-based activities.

The Forbach-Saarbrücken Eurozone is also helping to enhance the appeal of the Forbach-Saarbrücken conurbation .

The refurbishment and conversion of certain buildings make this business park a site of outstanding architectural quality.
