La Cité du numérique, located in Bordeaux in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, aims to become a centre of economic, cultural and societal excellence based on digital applications.

Offices, incubators, business nurseries, services, co-working spaces and a ‘Living Lab’ will be available at the future flagship site of French Tech Bordeaux: La Cité du numérique.

The Cité du numérique in Bordeaux is situated in the Terres Neuves district, three tram stops from the TGV-TER station, 10 minutes from the TGV station connecting Bordeaux to Paris in 2 hours and 5 minutes, 300 metres from the ‘Terres Neuves’ stop on tram line C, and 15 minutes from Bordeaux city centre (Place de la Bourse). The Spanish border is just 2 hours and 40 minutes from the Cité.

Shared offices are available within the Cité du numérique in Bordeaux, the future flagship venue for French Tech in Bordeaux.

The Cité du Numérique is the only venue in the Bordeaux-Euratlantique area to offer, within a single space, a comprehensive and bespoke range of facilities for the digital sector: offices, incubators, business nurseries, services, co-working spaces, a ‘Living Lab’, and more. This offering is proving highly attractive, with 80 per cent of expressions of interest already received. Housed in a building typical of 1970s architecture, this former postal sorting centre is being refurbished whilst working with the existing structure to preserve the site’s identity, through a focus on cost-effective innovation, enabling future occupants to move in at a lower cost whilst being operational straight away.

The various units are independent of one another, in that each has its own specific utility connections; however, the synergies created by this interweaving of different structures allow for numerous shared facilities.
