  Introduction to the TECNOALCALÁ Park

Located in the heart of the Community of Madrid, the TECNOALCALÁ Science and Technology Park offers a sustainable environment of high environmental quality. It provides a centre of excellence equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support the development of businesses and organisations linked to the technology sector.

Its main mission has been to establish an environment that fosters innovation and the sharing of knowledge. It provides high-quality premises to accommodate innovative businesses.

Established with the aim of streamlining the innovation process for businesses whilst facilitating the transfer of technology and knowledge from the University, the business park is home to companies operating in various sectors, including information and communication technologies, healthcare and industry. The business park currently hosts more than 40 companies.

The park recently opened a business centre comprising nine offices designed for technology start-ups, offering comprehensive facilities for business creation, development and management. As part of the business hub, various communal spaces are available, such as meeting rooms, multi-purpose classrooms and training rooms, which are accessible to all resident companies.

  Strategic location in Madrid 

The Tecnoalcalá park occupies a strategic location at the heart of the Henares corridor, an economically vital region due to its prime position to the east of Madrid. Benefiting from direct access to the A-2 motorway (Madrid–Barcelona), it lies in the immediate vicinity of the R-2 and is just 10 minutes from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.

What are the site characteristics of the TECNOALCALÁ business park ? 

The park is built on a site covering 370,705 m², featuring extensive green spaces and a large number of free above-ground parking spaces.

The areas are distributed as follows:

• Land areas: 7,100 m² 
• Green spaces: 111,211 m²
• Parking spaces: 1,782 outdoor spaces, in addition to those already available on private plots.

Currently, the ‘TECNOALCALÁ’ Science and Technology Park offers 7,100 m² of industrial land for the establishment and hosting of technology companies.
