Genopole offers varied quality training courses and expertise

Genopole organises seminars and workshops on different subjects like business strategies, technology specificities or an introduction to cutting edge equipment. It also organises meetings, in partnership with bio cluster players and experts, on a specific topic of interest to the Genopole community.

The platform also organises a summer school. ‘Bioinformatic and biostatistical tools in medical genomics’ is an international training programme dedicated to researchers, engineers and doctoral students who want to develop or refine their skills in digital genomics. Workshops, panel discussions and conferences are organised by international experts. The training course takes place over 3-4 days at the heart of a campus on the edge of the Seine river.

 

The Genopole platform organises the Shaker and Booster training programme:

  • Shaker: this training course is an opportunity given to creators of innovation in the field of biotechnology (health, environment, agro tech/food tech, bioindustry). The winners will have the chance to continue their work thanks to equipment, and benefit from entrepreneurial awareness training.
  • Booster: this support scheme is dedicated to biotech innovation. It allows the winners to improve their skills in the areas of management, financing and protection of intellectual property. The Booster training course gives access to personal consulting and to an OpenLab.

 

Metropolitan network in Evry-Val-d’Essonne:

REVE links together 14 scientific sites in the urban area and also extends to the Evry-Corbeil bio cluster. The network allows the use of new technologies necessary for the construction of a multidisciplinary virtual campus.
