An industrial and innovation platform promoting the circular economy and energy efficiency in Fos-sur-Mer

Located at the Port of Marseille Fos, this industrial platform aims to foster collaboration and synergy amongst manufacturers within an industrial ecology framework. Indeed, the port generates significant sources of energy (steam, electricity) that can be reused. The business park therefore offers to accommodate manufacturers requiring these energy sources for the smooth running of their operations, whilst providing added value and enhancing the competitiveness of existing businesses.

Several hectares of industrial land for sale in the zone

Nearly 600 ha of land are available in the area. The entire site is equipped with the various networks and services necessary for the smooth running of the industrial park and the businesses based there: 1,700 linear metres of quays, draughts of up to 18 metres, electricity ranging from 200,000 to 400,000 volts, gas pipelines with diameters ranging from 80 to 1,000 mm, and industrial water pipelines with diameters ranging from 300 to 800 mm. A steam network is planned to increase and diversify energy sources. The area is classified as a high-threshold SEVESO site.

Fifteen businesses are already benefiting from the energy networks at the Fos-sur-Mer industrial park.
