North of the Fessenheim nuclear power station, on the border between Germany and France, the EcoRhena business park is situated along the River Rhine. All the major European capitals are within a 1½-hour radius, thanks to the proximity of Colmar, Strasbourg and Basel-Mulhouse airports, TGV stations and ports, as well as motorways.

A bespoke industrial park 

With a total area of 220 ha when fully developed, 150 ha will already be available between 2020 and 2021 within the business park. Plot sizes can be tailored to suit your project. A collaborative project

The EcoRhena project stems from a collaboration between France and Germany, following the closure of the Fessensheim power station announced for 2020. This programme is supported by the European Commission. Other public and private partners are also involved in the project. 

A skilled workforce in the surrounding area

A highly skilled workforce is becoming available following the gradual reduction in employment at the power station site. Work is already underway to facilitate worker mobility between France and Germany.
