INNOVAFEED is a French company specialized in the production of foods rich in aquaculture to proteins.

It produces flour insects and bioactive from agricultural coproducts to offset future protein deficiency and participate in the development of a sustainable aquaculture.
InnovaFeed decided to implement 500m² research laboratories within a biocluster Génopole to continue its R & D programs.

Building a food chain of the future

InnovaFeed aims to bring out a new innovative agricultural sector, sustainable and socially virtuous. To do this, InnovaFeed has developed innovative processes for large-scale rearing insects for producing protein-rich meals by promoting agricultural co-products currently uneaten.
This activity contributes to the development of a quality fish by providing a new source of sustainable and competitive food and the revitalization of agricultural basins.
InnovaFeed developed with its industry partners a production model performance widely with a competitive economic model to undertake rapid development.

Industrial production of flour in 2017

Parallel to the acceleration of its research programs, InnovaFeed sets up a new industrial production unit with a capacity of 1,000 tons of flour per year for 2017.
The development of InnovaFeed is supported by strong commercial partnerships in France and abroad.
The potential insect flour exceeds 15 million tons in 2025. InnovaFeed aims to produce 300,000 tonnes in 2025 with the establishment, each year 2-3 units of production of 5,000 tonnes between 2018 and 2020 .

A flash introduction GEOLINK

Detected by the team GEOLINK in June 2016, a few weeks were enough for implantation of InnovaFeed in laboratories Genopole in Evry.
The team of Genopole has everything in place to attract the nugget itself as a major player in a new industry of the future.

This implementation is not unlike the implantation of Algopack in Pleucadeuc that uses algae to subtitué plastic.
