North of the Fessenheim nuclear power plant on the border between Germany and France, the EcoRhena business park is located along the Rhine. Several major European capital cities are accessible in a radius of 1h30m, thanks to the proximity of Colmar, Strasbourg, and Basel-Mulhouse airports, high-speed train stations and ports, and motorways.
Custom-made plots of land
With an eventual area of 220 hectares, 150 hectares are available in the business park. The plots of land are adaptable depending on your project’s needs. The lots of land will accommodate large companies, SMEs and ETIs which carry out industrial, maritime or river activities.
A collaborative project
The EcoRhena project is the product of a collaboration between France and Germany, following the closure of the Fessenheim nuclear plant announced for 2020. This programme is supported by the European Commission. Other public and private partners are also taking part in the project.
A qualified local workforce
A highly qualified workforce is expected to be available following the gradual closure of the plant in Fessenheim. A study on the mobility of workers between France and Germany is already underway. For future arrivals, housing, schools, and cultural life are all present in this privileged environment.
