Technology Park Transalley - Valenciennes

South of Valenciennes, since January 2011 the city of Valenciennes is taking care of the development of a technology park for transport-related and mobility-related activities. The park also hosts the internationally known competitive cluster i-Trans and the Technology Research Institute for Railway infrastructure. The Technology Park Transalley is situated only 15 min. away from Valenciennes, 40 min. from Lille, 2 hours from Paris and 100 km from Brussels.

The park covers 34 hectares and includes the construction of 180,000 m² low-energy buildings with laboratories for applied research, technology platforms, business premises and student residences.
