Provider of courier and transport services, OSE European LTD has chosen Calais as the location for its first site in France.

England and Calais have always enjoyed close ties, and many British companies choose the area as the location for their (or one of their) first site(s) on the continent. OSE European LTD is no exception. Based in Newcastle (upon Tyne), England, the company now covers the UK and the entire European market.

To pursue this development, Peter Hunt, the company's CEO, contacted the business location specialists at Geolink Expansion via the Invest-HUB platform. This exchange enabled them to define the entrepreneur's expectations, collect his specifications and, after studying them, put him in touch with the right local contacts, i.e. those able to meet his needs in terms of land, real estate and support.

The Greater Calais area quickly emerged as the ideal destination. In addition to the availability of a warehouse that met the company's requirements: surface area of 200 to 500 m², easy access for heavy goods vehicles, ceiling height of 5 to 6 m, etc., the region's support, particularly in terms of administrative procedures - such as contacting a local lawyer to set up a legal entity in France - and its geographical location convinced OSE European LTD to move to Calais.
