Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne
The Business Park east of Dijon, also known as “Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne” thanks to ISO 14 001 and EMAS certification labels, is a new business area of Dijon.
It’s located at Dijon’s eastern edge and is connected to major motorways (ring road, A31, A38), on the municipality of Saint-Apollinaire and Quétigny.
Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne is 10 minutes away from the Cité des Affaires (conference hall) and 20 minutes away from Dijon station.
Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne: a multipurpose park
The Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne is the ideal site for health-related, “green growth” or agri-food companies, but can also host a variety of other eco-friendly activities (crafts, industry or tertiary activities).
That’s why the centre has been designed to organise such interdisciplinarity in a consistent way by renting plots from 3 000 m² to several hectares.
The original idea was to combine in one place the characteristics of nature and city. For this reason, the Ecopark has 3 ecological corridors and a range of services to create a more liveable and pleasant working place.
Business sector
The park can host industrial activities (76 ha) as well as tertiary services (14 ha).
Almost 20 ha (plots from 3000 m²) are dedicated to small and medium-sized companies.
The park’s priority is to promote the businesses working in biotechnological, agri-food and ecological fields.
The future activity zone in Beauregard will host heavy industry activities.

With more than 2300 employees, the agri-food companies are among the site’s most important activities. Thanks to its dynamical industry, internationally known research and training centres (INRA, Centre des sciences du goût et de l’alimentation, Agrosup Dijon) and an important innovation centre, this business area represents the ideal location for food industries.
They can also rely on related services, especially as regards logistics and packaging.
This integrated approach “from the farm to the table” is the distinctive feature and the strength of Dijon’s agri-food industry.
An example of this dynamic sector is the competitive cluster Vitagora ®, Goût-Nutrition-Santé, that associates research and development projects.
The appointment to “international city of gastronomy” is a clear sign of Dijon’s excellence in this field.
Dijon is located in the heart of the region Paris-Lyon-Strasbourg and therefore ideally placed to promote the development of companies of the health sector.
With almost 2800 employments and a growth of 10% in the last ten years, the healthcare industry is one of the most important activities in the area of Dijon.
The industrial structure includes corporations (Urgo, Sanofi, Merck Médication familiale) and innovative start-ups (Oncodesign, Inventiva, NVH Medicinal, Nexidia).
The research benefits from the presence of university hospitals, the Centre Georges François Leclerc (Cancer research Centre), the INSERM and so on.
Historically the mechanical, electrical and metal-working industries are the most important industrial activities of the region Bourgogne.
Large enterprises such as Schneider, Safran, Tetra Pak and Sundyne support the development of the environmental technology industry (wind energy, building energy management and composite materials). -
