Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport Business District
Basel-Mulhouse airport is at the heart of the cross-border region between Germany, Switzerland, and France.
To rejuvenate the French part of the airport, a new business district is being developed: Euro3lys.
Access to the business district
Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport benefits from a strategic location, ideal for all international companies:
- Immediate proximity to Switzerland (Basel)
- Immediate proximity to Germany (Freiburg)
- Immediate proximity to France (Mulhouse)
- Proximity to Swiss, German, and French train stations
- Proximity to Swiss, German, and French motorways
Developed next to Basel-Mulhouse international airport, the airport’s business district benefits from excellent accessibility along the A35 motorway, at the foot of the SNCF train station and a port along the Rhine. It is also easily reachable by the Basel tram.
About the business district
The aim of this project is to grow the French part of the tri-national agglomeration of Basel.
At the heart of the cross-border territory between Germany and Switzerland, Euro3lys will become a new metropolitan business district due to its size, its privileged location and its exceptional accessibility.
Covering an area of more than 100 hectares, the Basel-Mulhouse business district will be made up of different leisure and activity clusters:
- 35 hectares will be reserved for natural landscaped space
- 4 hectares will be dedicated to a sports and leisure cluster
- 8 hectares will be dedicated to a business centre
- 10 hectares will be dedicated to a services and research cluster including housing
- 6 hectares will be dedicated to a high-end commercial cluster
