The program is open to companies and external professionals who commit to establishing themselves in Andorra within six months. It prioritizes projects that deliver strategic impact and create significant added value for the national economy.

By supporting R&D+i initiatives, Andorra reaffirms its ambition to position itself as a sustainable innovation hub, fully aligned with emerging global economic challenges. This program offers a tangible opportunity for companies looking to invest in a stable, competitive, and fast-evolving environment.

For 2025, the program has a total budget of €500,000, with the possibility of co-financing expenses directly linked to innovation, including:

• Workforce: salaries of technical or research staff
• Equipment and technologies: tools, machines, laboratories
• Intangible assets: software, licenses, patents
• Consumable materials: used during project development
• Infrastructure: spaces dedicated to innovative activity

Grants are awarded on a rolling basis, subject to the availability of funds.

Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be assessed against several qualitative criteria:

• Impact on the Principality: contribution to strategic sectors and capacity for transformation
• Level of innovation: novelty, differentiation, and evolution of the activity
• Technical and economic feasibility: methodology, coherence of the action plan, and financial robustness
• Investment and employment: resources mobilized and creation of high-value jobs
• Local partnerships: collaborations with stakeholders established in Andorra

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a complete file including:

• A technical report of the project
• A detailed provisional budget
• A declaration of public aid received over the past three years
• A certificate of no outstanding debts to the administration
